This website (astrologerpnrao.com) is run by Pandit PN Rao Shastri, also known as Datta Sai Jyothishyalayam, legal/business name: [BUSINESS LEGAL NAME], Brindavan Estates, Plot 55, Road No. 5, Kukatpally, Hyderabad – 500085, Telangana, India. In this policy, "we", "us" and "Pandit Ji" mean this business. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 we are the "Data Fiduciary" for the personal data described below.

What we do not collect: this website has no user accounts or passwords, does not take online payments or store card, UPI or bank details, does not accept file or image uploads, and does not use advertising or analytics trackers.
We use the details you give in our forms only for these purposes. We do not use them for advertising, we do not upload them to Google or any ad platform, we do not sell them, and we do not send promotional messages. If we ever want to send you offers or newsletters, we will ask for a separate consent first, and declining will never affect your consultation.
Basis for using your data: your consent, given by ticking the box on the form. Where the law requires us to keep or disclose certain information, we will do so as the law requires.
Your form details are e-mailed to the business inbox and are seen by Pandit Ji and the team members who help arrange appointments. We do not sell or rent your personal data.
This website does not process payments. Fees are communicated before the session. If you pay in person or through UPI or bank transfer outside this website, your bank or payment app handles the payment, and we keep only what is needed to record that the fee was received. These third parties have their own privacy policies. Some may process data on servers outside India. They do not receive the contents of your consultation form from our website.
When you submit a form, our server sets one temporary session cookie that stops the same form being sent repeatedly; it is deleted when you close your browser. We do not set analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The embedded Google Maps and YouTube content may set their own cookies under Google's policies; you can block these in your browser settings.
We keep your details only for as long as needed to arrange and give your consultation and any follow-up you ask for, and for [RETENTION PERIOD – business decision, e.g. "12 months after your last consultation"] afterwards, unless the law requires us to keep something longer. After that we delete the emails and any notes that contain your details. You can ask us to delete your details sooner (section 11).
The website is served over HTTPS, the form handler checks and cleans what you submit, and access to the business mailbox is limited to Pandit Ji and the team. No system is perfectly secure, and ordinary email is not end-to-end encrypted, so please do not send highly sensitive information (for example medical records, ID numbers or bank details) through the form or by email. If we become aware of a personal data breach affecting you, we will deal with it as the law requires.
Some services (for example baby-name astrology or a child's kundali) need a child's birth details. If the person concerned is under 18, the form must be completed by a parent or lawful guardian, who is giving consent on the child's behalf. We do not knowingly collect a child's details directly from the child, and we do not track or advertise to children.

We may ask you to confirm your identity (for example by calling you back on the number you gave us) before sharing or changing anything. Requests are handled by a person, not automatically, and we will respond within the period required by law.
Withdrawing consent: use any of the same channels. Withdrawing is meant to be as easy as giving consent. Once you withdraw, we will stop using your details and delete them unless the law requires us to keep them. Withdrawal does not affect anything we did with your details before you withdrew, and we may not be able to continue a consultation that needs those details.
